Looking For Inspiration Pt. 2
Sometimes inspiration can come from a moment spent with that person you have strong feelings for. The way you see them is like part dream, part reality. Makes you question what is real and what is not.

DJ Kaku on Club Killers Radio
DJ Kaku is one of the hottest young talents in Asia, Japanese born, California raised, living in Taipei, this dude brings down the house live! I was very impressed the first time I caught his live set, amazing energy. I was fortunate enough to meet him through my good friend DJ Bento when I was booked out in Taipei, Taiwan at Spark Nightclub where he is a resident along with their newer Hong Kong venue. He is now also a resident at new Hong Kong hot spot, Play Nightclub.
Kevin Ou, who was living in Taipei and I had never met happened to originally be from Anaheim, California, where I grew up. Which was crazy to me, small world. We had a mutual friend that I went to high school with named Sal who connected us, in which I’m extremely grateful for because Kevin & Kaku are pretty much responsible for introducing me to Din Tai Fung, an amazing Taiwanese dumpling house that is only found in Seattle, Los Angeles, and about to open in Orange County. Highly recommend it! Always trust a chubby DJ! One of my favorite restaurants I’ve been to in the whole world. Another fun fact: Kaku also loves the Golden State Warriors. Only die hard Golden State Warriors fan I’ve ever met. Hahaha
Below I have posted somewhat of a throwback vid. When JD Live and I first did our little Club Killers Asia tour in 2012 connecting with DJ Bento, Kaku, & Inquisitive in cities like Tokyo, Singapore, Taipei, & Osaka. Enjoy.

Looking For Inspiration pt. I
Let me formally introduce myself to this blog. My name is famous8 and along with David we are currently in charge of all the campaigns you have been seeing for Club Killers apparel.
We know some people have been wondering ‘what was that all about?’ We just been developing another branch of Club Killers, which is a clothing line that is inspired by more than just music, but a creative lifestyle.
We are not only just doing ad campaigns, but giving you a little bit of entertainment. So, we introduced a little web series called “Looking For Inspiration,” stories of a guy named Johnny, who wanders around the city looking for something, somewhere, someone that will inspire him to be creative.
On this first episode, Johnny meets Olga Gittera, who is from Moscow & happens to be visiting LA. Johnny is happy to take her to his favorite spot, where she can enjoy a different view of the city.

Sit back, relax and watch the brand new aftermovie from the first annual TomorrowWorld. Just like the TomorrowLand aftermovie, this film accomplishes the goal of transporting its viewers to a far away land. To those who went, we’re suddenly right back in Dreamville and at the Book of Wisdom stage falling under Sebastian Ingrosso’s spell. To the audience that didn’t experience this epic festival, this video will make you want to go as soon as possible.
History was made in 2013 in the United States. From Sept. 26 to Sept. 29, thousands and thousands of people from all over the world gathered in Georgia to be part of the first ever TomorrowWorld.
At the end of the movie, the important 2014 TomorrowWorld dates were announced: September 26, 27, and the 28th will be when the festival takes place and pre-registration starts January 22nd and on February 22nd tickets will be sold.

Hardwell & Tiesto Set to Collaborate on a New Track.
It was only a matter of time before Tiesto took his ever-present public relationship with his mega-prodigy DJ to the next level. Hardwell and Tiesto have hit the studio together to begin work on another track together. With all the genre-hopping we’ve seen from Tiesto, we have to wonder if there’s a chance they’ll deviate from what would likely be another electro-house banger. Either way, if its anything like Zero 76, their first collaboration, we’re likely going to see a big contender for summer anthem for 2014.
Today they made it Facebook official.
Until then, a sample of their past, and what may come in the future.

Those Blue Eyes
A couple of weeks ago I met Kayla Lewis. There was just something about those blue eyes that it just captured my attention. Kayla didn’t speak much, but she you often glanced out the window wondering what the world had to offer. She was like a bird in cage, she just wanted to feel free and fly away.

Greetings friends! Not sure if you noticed Avicii picked up an AMA this past weekend! Pretty major. Huge congrats to him and his camp, it’s truly been a great year. I remember all the bad press he got when he dropped “Wake Me Up” at Ultra Miami this past March. Social networks went wild and lots of people said he was done and how dumb he was for doing what he was doing. Goes to show, thinking out of the box within in the box really pays off sometimes!
Fast forward to present times, a handful of awards & a huge #1 crossover track which is currently the most played song on my station 102.7 KIIS FM in Los Angeles, I think we’re playing it 105 times a week now. It’s crazy! He’s breaking boundaries & creating his own path. I love it. Something we should all be striving for. With that being said (& kinda ironic to what I just wrote hahaha) I wanted to share an edit of my favorite track off his “Truth” album with all of you. For all the CK members log in for multiple edits of this track. Hope it’s useful for you friends!

20,000+ EDC Las Vegas Tickets Sold on “Headliner Loyalty Program” Pre-Sale Day.
We are now officially on the road to EDC Las Vegas and the road seems to be quite crowded at the moment. Earlier today, pre-sale tickets went on sale for those who had attended EDC Las Vegas in either 2011, 2012, or 2013 and bought their tickets through Flavorus through the new “Headliner Loyalty Program”. Meant to reward Insomniac’s loyal fans, Pasquale Rotella took to his Twitter earlier in the afternoon to announce that 20,000 first tier of tickets, priced at $249, sold out in only a few minutes. Later this afternoon, Tier 2, priced at $299, sold out as well meaning that currently the lowest tier of tickets still available are for Tier 3, which is priced at $345.
While the “Headliner Loyalty Program” was extremely beneficial for those fans lucky enough to grab their tickets, many future attendees were not so lucky because if they were planning on attending for the first time. These fans now have to wait for the the general pre-sales to start next week and according to Flavorus, ”the general on-sale will continue with price tiers that are remaining after the Headliner Loyalty Program.” As a result, the lowest that fans will be able to buy their ticket for next week is $345 dollars, unless that tier sells out as well. After hearing mixed reviews about it, what do you think of the “Headliner Loyalty Program” and were you able to snag a ticket yet?
