Martin Garrix takes off for Lollapalooza Berlin in the newest episode of The Martin Garrix Show, where his Anima summer tour is set to conclude. Garrix reflects on how sad he is for the tour to end, and he hangs out with fellow artists in the catering area, including previous show-frequenter Dean Lewis.

This episode reaffirms the painstaking process Garrix and vocalists go through in the making of a hit, as shown in previous episodes. Lewis tells a story about how Garrix called him a month after the final version of “Used To Love” was complete, and told him they would need to re-do the entire song. The duo proceeded to do just that, and fans get a sneak peak into how intense Garrix is when it comes to perfecting a piece.

We bet you didn’t expect that one, did you? Elon Musk – a man known more for SpaceX rather than tunes for the beloved Space Ibiza – is a dab hand in the studio judging from his new effort ‘Don’t Doubt Ur Vibe’.

The Tesla CEO was teasing the track on his Twitter last night and eventually uploaded it to his SoundCloud page, wittily named Emo G Records.

‘Don’t Doubt Ur Vibe’ is a starry progressive house cut, with Elon on vocal as well as production duty. We wonder whether he’s been getting tips from his partner, Canadian artist Grimes.

Billie Eilish has scripted Grammy history, becoming the first female artist to take home the coveted awards for the ceremony’s four major categories, Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year. Eilish is only the second artist to sweep each of the four categories: Christopher Cross was the first to do so in 1981.

Of note, Eilish was the second most nominated artist at the 62nd annual Grammy Awards, and she and Lizzo were the first artists to earn nominations in each of the four major award categories since Sam Smith in 2015.

Eilish also took home the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album, which brought the 18-year-old vocalist’s count to a staggering total of five awards. “bad guy” nabbed Record of the Year and Song of the Year for Eilish, while WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?, the LP from which the high performing single hails, secured her album-focused awards.

Album of the Year is a pivotal victory for the songstress, who is now the youngest individual performer to triumph in this category. The title was formerly held by Taylor Swift, who won the category for 2008’s Fearless.

Calvin Harris has just dropped a two-track EP under his alias, Love Regenerator featuring the essence of the underground. ‘Hypnagogic (I Can’t Wait)’ and ‘CP-1’ reveal a new side to the popular EDM producer.

Harris announced the project on Twitter earlier this week void of details. With the release of the EP, the Scottish producer revealed that the tracks were heavily impacted by the sounds of “early rave, breaks, techno and house, the music I was obsessed with growing up. In fact, I’ve done everything I can to make them sound like they’ve come from a 1991 time capsule.”

Four years since his last album Purpose, Justin Bieber is gearing for big things in 2020. The former child star announced a new album, docuseries, and tour back in December, when he released a teaser trailer for his new material. Now, Bieber is back with “Yummy,” a new single and our first taste of new music since his return.

The slow-burning single feels like the kind of R&B we’ve come to expect from Bieber, with woozy trap production and a melodic hook reminiscent of his 2016 collaboration with Post Malone. Co-written by longtime collaborator Poo Bear, the track also calls to mind softer, guitar-leaning Poo Bear collaborations like “Hard 2 Face Reality.” Building around an obviously sexual metaphor, Bieber makes an otherwise over-the-top single feel moody and subdued, even if he doesn’t quiet land the Ty Dolla Sign-esque ad-libs. “Hundred racks, help me spend it, babe / Light a match, get litty, babe,” he slurs in the pre-chorus.
