Video: Rae Sremmurd – “Shake It Fast” ft. Juicy J
There are 13 other songs on SremmLife 2 not named “Black Beatles.” One of them is the Juicy J-featuring “Shake It Fast,” which now has its own video. The new visual, directed by Max, is borderline NSFW as the duo (plus the song’s producer, Mike WiLL Made-It) host a bikini-filled pool party before dancing in the streets.

5 iPhone DJ Apps Guaranteed To Rescue A Shit Party
DJing is one of the easiest and most enjoyable musical skills you can learn, but for a long time the barrier to entry was made impossibly high by the significant cost of decks, a mixer and speakers. Now most of us have touchscreen technology in our pockets, though, you can learn the fundamentals of DJing for less than the price of a latte.
We don’t recommend turning up to your club set wielding an iPhone, but DJ apps are still useful for experienced selectors who want to practice blends away from their home setup. They also come into their own at house parties: we’ve all been in the situation where a dying event needs to be rescued from Spotify playlist purgatory and ‘Bad Blood’ on repeat.
There are tons of DJ apps available for iPhone, each pitched at different ability levels. We’ve picked five that should cover all bases, whether you just want to will automate your party playlist or you’re ready for a fully featured CDJ simulator.
If you’re not interested in mixing tracks yourself but need something to keep a party going, Serato Pyro is a step up from letting Spotify’s mood-based playlists do the work. Just build a playlist from either your Spotify or iTunes libraries and the app will blend the tracks automatically.
It doesn’t deliver perfect beatmatching, but it generally fades out a track and starts the next in a way that feels natural and unobtrusive and uses a handy recommendation engine to keep playing similar music after your playlist has finished. As with any “intelligent” playlist builder, you’ll find it occasionally throws up some odd choices, but if you need to hand the party to a bot then Serato Pyro is your best bet.
Pacemaker
Price: Free (features in-app purchases)
Pacemaker is another DJ app that does the beatmatching for you, but the experience is much more creative than Serato Pyro. It connects to your Spotify account and allows you to create mixtapes which you can add filtering and effects to with optional add-on purchases.
The automatic blends are more sophisticated than Serato Pyro’s, and the ability to add effects is a great way to practice more advanced DJ techniques without having to worry about keeping tracks in time. However, the waveforms are very low-resolution and you can’t record the mixtapes – because it uses Spotify, it creates a digital fingerprint that only users of the Pacemaker app can hear.
If you’re familiar with Native Instruments’ Traktor DJ software you’ll feel right at home with this app, which has an almost identical interface. The two-deck view has been optimised for iPhone so you can view both decks at the same time or expand one waveform to make the most of its freeze and slice functions, which are great for live remixing.
It doesn’t offer quite the same professional experience as the desktop software: there’s no way to set the pitch independently, so you’ll spend more time setting beat grids to ensure the sync function lines the drums up properly. But if you just want a fun app for occasional party sets and testing mixes on the move, it’s perfect.
Pioneer DJ WeDJ
Price: $0.99 (free until November 28)
If you learned to mix on a set of Pioneer CDJs, the company’s WeDJ app is as close as you’ll get to recreating the experience on your phone. The layout and interface looks just like a set of Pioneer DJ decks and the app packs in an impressive array of features, such as scrubbable waveforms, a sync button, cue points, effects and a sampler.
It also has independent pitch control, so if you want to mix the old-fashioned way you can. Its packed feature set does come at the expense of simplicity, however: the interface is cluttered and likely to be confusing for beginners to pick up straight away, and many of the buttons are just too small for large fingers.
Algoriddim Djay 2 for iPhone
Price: $2.99/£2.29
Djay is the world’s best selling DJ app, and its latest version has made it even better. It integrates with both iTunes and Spotify, giving it the edge over Pioneer DJ’s iPhone app which only plays your MP3s. The colored waveforms visualize track structures brilliantly, and the turntable design and independent pitch controls make it the closest you’ll get to an old-school DJ experience on your phone.
However, if you’re the kind of DJ who likes to make copious use of effects, you’ll find yourself making a lot of in-app purchases, making Djay 2 one of the more expensive iPhone apps for DJing.

Kanye West has been hospitalized ‘for his own health and safety’
Kanye West has once again embroiled himself in controversy over the course of the past week. After voicing his support for Donald Trump at a concert in San Jose on Thursday, November 18, the outspoken artist began acting erratically. West cut a concert in Sacramento Saturday night following thirty minutes onstage, which included an extensive rant against Jay Z, Beyonce, and Hillary Clinton. The performer went on to cancel all the remaining dates of his Saint Pablo tour after the Sacramento stop.
Recent developments suggest that this series of events is either rooted in deeper issues than Kanye West’s polarizing behavior in the past, or is indicative of pivotal decline in West’s mental health. NBC News reports that the artist has been hospitalized, stating the following:
“Kanye West was under observation at a Los Angeles area hospital late Monday after the remaining dates of his national tour were abruptly canceled, multiple authorities familiar with the case told NBC News.
The admission followed a week of bizarre incidents during which the provocative rapper publicly railed against fellow music stars Beyoncé and Jay Z and retroactively endorsed President-elect Donald Trump.
A source familiar with the case said Los Angeles police responded to a medical welfare call about 1:20 p.m. (4:20 p.m. ET). No criminal activity was involved; the decision to hospitalize West was for his own health and safety, the sources said.”
No further details regarding West’s hospitalization have been revealed at press time. Dancing Astronaut will update this article as more information becomes available regarding the incident.

A Tribe Called Quest Heading for First No. 1 Album in Over 20 Years
A Tribe Called Quest is heading for its first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart in more than 20 years, according to industry forecasters. The act’s new release, We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service, is on course to earn around 120,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Nov. 17, according to prognosticators, and will likely arrive atop the Billboard 200.
The new effort, which is billed as the group’s final album, is their first studio release since 1998’s The Love Movement, and the first since the death of the act’s Phife Dawg in March.
The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). The top 10 of the new Dec. 3-dated Billboard 200 chart — where A Tribe Called Quest may debut at No. 1 — is scheduled to be revealed on Billboard’s websites on Sunday, Nov. 20.
A Tribe Called Quest has topped the Billboard 200 chart once previously, with Beats, Rhymes and Life, which debuted at No. 1 on the list dated Aug. 17, 1996. The act made its Billboard 200 debut with their 1990 debut effort People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm, which peaked at No. 91 and featured the hit single “I Left My Wallet in El Segundo.”
Elsewhere in the upcoming Billboard 200 chart’s top 10, it’s expected that Sting could notch his 11th top 10-charting effort with his new 57th & 9th album. It’s his first pop/rock album in more than a decade, and would also mark his first top 10 set since 2010’s Symphonicities reached No. 6.

The Weeknd Rocks The MTV EMAs With Stunning “Starboy” Performance
Love it or hate it, you can’t deny that “Starboy,” The Weeknd‘s new collab with Daft Punk, is a massive hit. It’s hard to escape the song at the moment and with numerous remixes starting to pour out for it, it doesn’t look like it’ll be going anywhere any time soon, either.
We’re certainly not complaining, as we happen to be big fans of Abel’s moody and soulful new cut, as it’s bolstered by some excellent production from the French duo and even has a pretty cool music video to accompany it. It’s also the first of two songs that we’ll be getting from the artists, as The Weeknd recently confirmed that he’s got another track in the works with Daft Punk that’ll appear on his upcoming album.
But I digress. “Starboy” is a bonafide winner and last weekend, the singer touched down at the MTV EMAs to perform it live. Complete with a translucent dome and some interesting stage production, The Weeknd brought the song to life in stunning fashion, nailing every note and sending the crowd into a frenzy. It’s an inspired performance, one that anyone who was lucky enough to be in attendance won’t soon forget.

Fergie Teases New Music On Social Media
Believe it or not, it’s been a long ten years since Fergie released her debut solo album, The Dutchess. Headlined by hit singles like “Big Girls Don’t Cry” and “Glamorous,” The Dutchess’ popularity and level of quality had fans yearning for a follow-up, and it looks like the desperation may finally be coming to an end now.
With a cryptic hype video put up on Instagram, Fergie teased a November 11th date in a clip filled with screenshots of Tweets asking for some new tunes. The album, slated to be called Double Dutchess, has been in the works for quite a while: she’s been detailing the creative process for it since 2013, but it wasn’t until the release of her July single, “M.I.L.F. $” that a new record seemed even closer to reality. Besides solo work, Black Eyed Peas fans got a nice surprise when Fergie reunited with the group for a revamped version of “Where Is The Love” a few months back.
Her track, “M.I.L.F. $,” showed a different and a fresh side of Fergie, and the empowering female anthem (which stands for “Moms I’d Like To Follow”) shot the anticipation for a new album up to an all-time high. November 11th is a Friday, which means it’s a release day, so it’s definitely likely that something new will come out. Though Fergie‘s got an incredibly loyal fanbase, she’s been removed from the limelight for too long to really benefit from a surprise album, but then again, anything can happen – it’ll be worth it to keep eyes open on Friday to see what really ends up going down.

Bill Clinton, DJ Aoki hold Get-Out-The-Vote Event At UNLV
Former President Bill Clinton and Democratic congressional candidates Thursday pumped up a crowd of about 400 people at UNLV’s Cox Pavilion to vote for Hillary Clinton before DJ Steve Aoki spun a ground-shaking set of electro-house music.
The get-out-the-vote rally was part of Hillary for America’s “Love Trumps Hate” nationwide concert series.
It was a bass-heavy concert — which included new music from Aoki, and familiar remixes, including a sing-along rework of Nirvana’s ’90s hit “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and a couple of blink-182 songs — and served as a battle cry for young voters to get to the polls on Friday for the state’s last day of early voting or on Tuesday, Election Day.
Aoki stopped the music midset to send the event’s message home about voting.
“All your friends are not voting. That’s the truth,” he told the crowd. “So you need to get your friends together and go vote.”
‘This really is a choice if you believes love trumps hate,” Bill Clinton told the crowd. “For a year-and-a-half Americans have had acid poured down their throat” by Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
Clinton said that his wife’s campaign was about “building bridges not walls” and that “her answers are better than the anger (Trump) throws.”
The 42nd U.S. president painted a bright vision of the coming years to his young audience .
“You are America’s future. … We are rising, and the future is bright because of you,” he said. “I think you’re going to live in the most prosperous … time of discovery and advancement we’ve ever seen.”
Before Clinton and Aoki took the stage, Nevada state Sen. Ruben Kihuen, also a candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives, and Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Catherine Cortez Masto fired up the concert’s first arrivals, telling them Hillary Clinton was a champion of the American dream.

How 1 DJ Parlayed His Mobile DJ Company to $50 Million
My take away from the recent Decoded episode along with recent events have really got me thinking. Nothing lasts forever. No matter how much we may love something, eventually it will cease to exist. Whether a situation, a person or a time of our lives. It will end and after that, someday, we will too.
With the passing of DJ Risk One, I find that my recent interview with Chris P. has more meaning now. Working towards financial freedom to live life as we want is something we all strive for. Life is very short and we are not promised any tomorrows. If we make the right moves today, any tomorrows we may be lucky enough to have can be lived on our terms. Do we need money to be happy? I don’t believe so. I am happy as shit.
However, my happiness can’t retire my mom. My happiness can’t pay down my close relatives debt. I can and have helped in many ways including monetarily with family problems. I work hard enough to be able to be there when they need me. Working hard and smart affords us freedom. The freedom of owning your own business, building or event center like Chris has accomplished is a great way to be able to help those around you with anything they may need. Consider this, when you are on an airplane, they tell you, in case of an emergency if the oxygen masks come down, put yours on first and then help children or elderly people that may need assistance.
This is because if you help others before you put on your own mask, you will likely faint and everyone that you could have helped will pass out too. Create a business, be a business and make your money, this is your oxygen mask. Once you can breathe, help others as much as they need it. Along the way be sure to always be there for families and friends, but don’t lose focus on the big picture. Financial freedom is oxygen. You need oxygen to live.
