Martin Solveig and Laidback Luke introduce supermodel Olli Springer to their team.
Dad? No, that’s just Dillon Francis taking on the role of supermodel Olli Springer. “Being a supermodel is not an issue. You know, I don’t care to be good looking, I just force myself to forget it.”
Aside from loving cheese and reading authors from Baudelaire to Capote to Rembrandt (who is actually an artist), Olli stars in commercial number two demonstrating his passion for “BLOW,” the “Spray of Life.” The clip is eclectic to say the least, but Francis is renowned for his over-the-top antics and no other artist could have fit Olli’s role with such grace and bluntness. The LA DJ/producer is caught wearing red lipstick, a black feathery jacket, tight black pants, and a black wig, while he walks around the set with a zebra. “BLOW” is Olli’s essence; is it yours?

Afrojack Confirms Miley Cyrus’ ‘Wrecking Ball’ Remix
During the past couple of months, we have heard a lot about both Afrojack and Miley Cyrus in the news. Both artist have been sparking up a lot of controversy within the pop music scene recently, so it seems only natural that the Dutch DJ/producer took to Twitter yesterday to announce that he has just finished a remix of Cyrus’ latest hit, “Wrecking Ball”. We can only wait to see what the two black sheep pop sensations will sound like together.

FREE DOWNLOAD: Stay The Night (Alex Dreamz Mash)
So I made this mash up a couple weeks ago for my mixshow on KIIS FM Los Angeles because I wanted something more bangin than the original version. I simply put the Tiesto Remix into mixed in key & it matched the Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike Remix of Get Away by Alex Hide.
After posting it for exclusive members of ClubKillers.com, It was brought to my attention that Hardwell did one with the same exact tracks. Great minds think alike? Or we just both use programs who figure out the keys for us then we match them? Hahaha. They’re a little different but we use the same tracks. Hope some of you find it useful.

Beamz by Flo-Rida Bites Back at Deadmau5 in New Promo Video.
Just when we thought the funny remarks and name-calling has come to an end between Beamz and Deadmau5, the fire has reignited between the two. ‘Beamz By Flo’ company just released a promo video for their ‘technology’, but it seems like their incentive for such advertisement was not to promote their item, but instead as a low blow at Mau5. In case you haven’t been on top of the interactions between the two counterparts, Deadmau5 has been putting the Beamz company on blast for as long as most of us have heard of the company, whether it was in the form of an instagram, tweet, or shoutout during his infamous coffee run.
Beamz has made it obvious that this product could be played by anyone… apparently it’s so damn easy that even a mouse could do it. Is this a low blow or just plain ole marketing by the Beamz peeps? Well whatever it is, we love it and can’t wait for Deadmau5′s response.

20th Century Fox Picks Up David Katzenberg To Direct Diplo’s EDM Movie.
The still-unnamed movie, heralding the EDM craze featuring Diplo has a new director. The 20th Century Fox-backed project has picked up David Katzenberg. While little details have been released, we do know that Noah Rothman will be executive producer along with Diplo & Kevin Kusatsu. The script is currently being re-written and loosely described as “8 Mile” meets “Project X.” If the story of three kids trying to get to Diplo’s music festival can be as compelling as Go (a personal favorite), then we may have a winner on our hands. However, considering how bad Party Monster was, there’s definitely room for failure in this space.
The director has done some interesting work for MTV and his production company KatzSmith Productions, is developing “Beetlejuice 2″ (with Tim Burton of course) and a few other properties that could be very lucrative if executed properly. Just like this picture. Diplo evokes brand love among his following and he could do well with millions of people putting a face to his beats & twerky goodness.

Dada Life Sets the Guinness World Record for the Largest Pillow Fight.
It was only a matter of time before Dada wanted to corner the market on Happy Violence with their own world record. How many ways are there to be violent…yet happy? Squirt gun battle? A night with Q-Dance? “Adult” activities which usually include a lot of leather? Pillow fight? Definitely a pillow fight. This past weekend in Chicago, Dada Life successfully set the world record for the world’s largest pillow fight.
Although this idea wasn’t new for the duo, this was their largest attempt. Stefan and Ollie were quoted in a recent interview as saying: “We’ve tried out this pillow fight before and the most we’ve done is 800 pillows. This time to break the record we need to have more than 3,700 pillows. I think we’re going to aim for maybe 4 and a half thousand pillows.”
Check out the aftermath in the picture seen here from Aragon Ballroom.
Congratulations to Dada Life, who have their their Happy Violence/Pillow Fighting record. We can probably expect Diplo will eventually get his Twerk record. Dream big right? What other world records can we expect to see our famous DJs attempt?
Although admittedly not the best quality video, it’s good enough to give you an idea of the experience, as the participants beat the crap out of each other.

Avicii’s mix of EDM and country has given ravers a wake-up call.
In a stellar year for hit singles, it’s Swedish DJ and producer Avicii who currently sits alongside Daft Punk and Robin Thicke in the list of fastest-selling hits of 2013. Wake Me Up, a mixture of boshing dance beats and foot-stompin’ country music – EDM-umford if you like – has sold 915,000 copies to date (according to Official Charts Company data) with 265,000 of those shifted in its first week alone. So why, then, is Tim Bergling – the 23-year-old millionaire behind the Avicii name – so downbeat about the scene that has helped put him in the record books?
“Dance music is like a virus, it has affected so many different genres,” says Bergling when we meet in a London hotel room. It’s the first of several comments that make Bergling sound less like a poster boy for his scene and more like the “real music” rock bores who deride him and his peers (Calvin Harris, David Guetta et al).
“Originality is definitely missing from EDM,” he complains at one point. “There are people looking for it and exploring but I feel it’s so big now it is just getting milked. House music is losing all its melody as it becomes more about how dirty the drop is and how energetic it is. It loses touch with what music really is. It’s gotten to a point where everything sounds the same. There is no longevity in what’s happening at the moment.”

The promo asks the question, “Who walks away from success?” Find the answer by pressing play above.
